The ICTA Authority, in partnership with Pathways Technologies Limited and Microsoft Elevate, invites you to join the Microsoft AI National Skilling Training Programme, a transformative opportunity designed to prepare young people for the digital economy. Artificial Intelligence is no longer the future; it is the present. From learning and teaching to entrepreneurship and design, AI is shaping the way we live, work, and innovate. This programme aligns with the Kenya National AI Strategy (2025–2030) and supports the Kenya Digital Masterplan (2022–2032), key pillar on Digital skills ensuring that our youth are equipped with the skills to thrive in this new era.

Eligibility
The programme is open to youth with a demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence and ICT-related programmes. Participation is not limited to those in the technology field, youth from diverse sectors such as Agriculture, Finance, Engineering, Education, Health, Creative Industries, and Entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply. The aim is to empower young people across all disciplines to harness AI for innovation, problem-solving, and growth in their respective fields.
Programme Details
- Duration: 2 weeks of virtual training sessions targeted to ICTA (20th April – 1st May 2026), 1 week of self-paced learning (4th May – 8th May 2026), then the last week of graduation (Date to be selected between 11th – 15th May 2026).
- Mode of Training: Virtual sessions held within a period of 2 weeks, combined with Self-paced learning, ensuring flexibility while maintaining structured engagement.
- Cost: Fully sponsored by the ICT Authority in partnership with Pathways Technologies Limited and Microsoft Elevate, making this a unique opportunity for youth to access world-class AI training at no personal expense.
